We are looking for fresh takes on the usual fare. Experiment with new werewolf or vampire concepts. Envision Earth one hundred years from now. What will we humans be doing in 50 years? Alternatively, transport us—to a real or imagined history.

 

We will publish at least four short stories in each issue. Submissions must run between 2000 and 4000 words. You can submit anything shorter or longer to us for consideration. There’s no reason why a great story at 4200 words won’t fit between our covers.

 We will also publish one or two longer tales, depending on issue size. These can be 4000 words or more. Flash fiction of 500-1500 words will also be welcome. These can fit in well between longer pieces.

Please submit all entries via email. If you are uncomfortable with this method, we can provide you with a snail mail address. This will add to the response time.

 

Multiple submissions are okay, as long as you tell us where and when they appeared elsewhere. Failure to provide us with this information may disqualify your story for eligibility in our Annual Review Issue.

Reprints of previously published works are acceptable. Please ensure the work(s) are allowed to be re-published by the publication or your publishing rights have been returned to you. Failure to provide us with this information may have your story disqualified for publication.
