Paul Kenmir is a UK based writer who has a love of all things crime fiction. His love of the genre was first captured when he picked out a book from his paternal grandfather’s collection. That book was ‘One Shot’ by Lee Child (pictured to the right). From there, Paul broadened his horizons and found other equally amazing authors to read.
Paul is a regular attendee of the Theakston Old Peculiar Crime Writing Festival, an annual event that takes place in July in Harrogate in the UK. Paul has ambitions of one day being invited onto any of the amazing panels that take place every year.
Paul’s debut novel is entitled ‘The Hitman’s Wingman’ featuring his character Frank Williams - a hitman on a revenge-fueled mission.
Paul’s favorite authors include, but are not limited to, Trevor Wood, Tom Wood, Jack Jordan, and fellow Darlington-based author C.J. Grayson.
Paul has a family dog - a Pomeranian by the name of Teddy.
Favorite Quote:
"Great men are forged in fire. It is the privilege of lesser men to light the flame."
